What is MyoSure?

MyoSure is a surgical system that allows your doctor to diagnose and treat common gynecological conditions, such as uterine fibroids and polyps.

Your doctor can also use MyoSure to remove retained products of conception (RPOC) that may remain in your uterus after miscarriage, abortion, or delivery.

If you plan to undergo fertility treatments, your doctor may recommend MyoSure to increase your chances of success.

Your doctor can also use MyoSure to sample and biopsy any troubling tissue that may be cancerous or precancerous.

What happens in a MyoSure procedure?

A MyoSure procedure can both diagnose and treat abnormal tissue in the uterus in one simple procedure. Your doctor passes the MyoSure camera through your vagina and into your cervix to visualize any abnormal tissues or RPOC that are inside your uterus.

Your expert OB/GYN then inserts a slender wand with a sharp edge that cuts the polyp or fibroid into easily removable pieces that are suctioned away through a window in the wand.

Your OB/GYN makes sure all abnormal tissue and RPOC are removed through the suction wand. No abnormal tissues are left inside your uterus.
